Van der Werff Logistics took 4 new Moffet transportable forklift trucks into operational use on 11 May 2009 and in June 2010 another 10 new Moffets will follow, as replacements as well as additions to the existing fleet. Van der Werff Logistics currently has the largest fleet of transportable forklift trucks in the Netherlands, with 32 vehicles. These 32 transportable forklift trucks are exchanged over 70 vehicles. Van der Werff Logistics sought a solution in order to clarify where the transportable forklift trucks are located at any given time.

The transportable forklift trucks on Van der Werff Logistics's heavy duty vehicles are fitted with the T Comm Tracking & Tracing vehicle tracking system. The GPS/GPRS-system allows you to follow the transportable forklift trucks at any time, even when the transportable forklift truck is not located behind a vehicle. All the data can be accessed 24/7, anywhere in the world, through the web application.
