Amex Logistics in Amersfoort, specialised in conditioned transportation throughout Europe, has fitted its cooling and deep-freeze fleet with T Comm Tracking & Tracing systems. With these systems, the temperatures of food, flowers and plants, deep-freeze products and medicine are always under control at Amex Logistics.
Amex Logistics, established in 2000, is located in Amersfoort and transports foodstuffs, flowers and plants, deep-freeze products, medicines and non-food products for several clients. The entire cooling and refrigeration fleet of Amex Logistics is fitted with T Comm Tracking & Tracing systems in order to transport these temperature-sensitive products under controlled conditions. The systems of T Comm Tracking & Tracing monitor the temperatures in the trailers and notify the planning department when temperature limits are exceeded. This system gives the clients of Amex Logistics remote information on the location and condition of the products.
Jaap Wisse, director of Amex Logistics: “We are specialised in cooling and deep-freeze transportation. We can transport any goods with a temperature between -30° and +30°. The T Comm Tracking & Tracing systems give simple insight into factors including the temperatures of all of the trucks. The temperatures in the trailers are constantly checked and we are notified if any temperature limits are exceeded. This makes it possible for us to deliver the highest possible quality for our clients. Our clients can now easily remotely check that we are transporting the products at the correct temperatures. This works much faster and more efficiently for us and our clients."
